Rural farmers are struggling at the moment after a spate of thefts in the area, as reported by The Tivyside Advertiser this week.
“Eight galvanised steel gates have been stolen from various farms in and around the Cardigan area. As the gates are 12 feet wide then a large van or even lorry would have been required. Residents are being asked by Dyfed-Powys Police to be vigilant and become the eyes and ears of the community.”
We recently installed CCTV at a local farm due to them having equipment stolen. Apart from putting their minds at rest it has also aided with the calving. They asked us to install a camera in the calving shed so they’re able to keep an eye on the cows without having to be out in the cold in the dead of night. What an amazing idea!
We can supply, install and maintain the very latest in high resolution (up to 4K) cameras and recording equipment.
One unique aspect of our systems is that we can install in remote locations where cabling is either impossible or too expensive. Using high speed wireless links we can connect multiple cameras back to the recorder without wires!
Once installed cameras can be viewed and controlled from anywhere… from your PC or Mac or smartphone or a web browser anywhere in the world. Of course it’s very secure and only you can access your cameras.

Dyfed-Powys Police are also encouraging the farmers to set up a FarmWatch scheme in the local area, if you’re interested then give them a call on 101 and they’ll be able to give you plenty of information.
